The middle-temperature controlled heating cable (self-regulating heating belt) developed by HUAYU is widely used in fire protection, petroleum, chemical industry, iron and steel, electric power and so on to keep pipes, tanks warm and prevent frostbite. This cable is suitable for common areas, hazardous areas and corrosive areas, etc..

 

Product type: ZWK (ZXW, ZKW, ZKWZ, ZBW), relative to XTV series 

 

Temperature grade: middle temperature series

Structure type: basic type (J), basic anticorrosive type (J2), shielding & explosion-proof type (P), shielding & anticorrosive type (P2), explosion-proof & protective type (PF), explosion-proof & anticorrosive (PF2)

Voltage grade : 110V, 220V, 380V, 600V
Nominal power output : 35W/m, 45W/m, 50W/m, 60W/m

Cable structure:

1. Copper-core wire: 7x0.50, 7x0.32, 19x0.41
2. Conductive plastic layer: common PTC, fire-retardant PTC, fluorin-contained PTC
3. Insulation layer: modified polyolefin, fire-retardant polyolefin, fluorin-contained polyolefin, fluorin material
4. Shielding layer: soft round tinning copper braid, covering density: 80%
5. Restrictive coating: modified polyolefin, fire-retardant polyolefin, fluorin-contained polyolefin, fluorin material

6. Insulation resistance: Testing insulation resistance is 20Mohm at least if cable length is 100m and thermostatic water is 75oC. As for shielding or explosive-proof & protective type, test for 1 min between shielding layer and conductive wire core in 2,500VDC in 20oC, insulation resistance is 1200Mohm at least.

Installation Works for Self-Regulating Heating Cables

Preparing Work:

(1). Test the electronic circuit integrated and insulation capability of all cable tracing.

(2). Exterior inspections both Electronic equipment and control, could not use the transmutative, Chapped, spare part are not completed and could not repair

(3). Check up the pipe serial number according to heating cable chart. Then install as been confirmed correct.

(4). It can not be installed without Products tagged, blurred or unable to identify,

(5). The Work of Heating pipes must be completed and tested by Hydraulic test (Hermetic experiment).
