Application

The combination of a steel wire armor and low smoke halogen free materials make these cables ideal for installations in areas where mechanical protection is required and safety is paramount in the event of a fire. Available with either collective or individual and collective screens, these cables are widely used in the process control and the petrochemical industry together with many other commercial and industrial applications. 

Construction

Plain annealed copper wire conductors to BS 6360, class 1, 2 or class 5, PE insulation, cores twisted into pairs or triples, each pair/triple foil screened with a drain wire, overall foil screen and drain wire, PE inner sheath, galvanized steel wire armor LSHF sheath - Black or blue.

Conductor identification

Pairs Blue and black. Pairs numbered (Alternative color codes are also available)

Triples are produced in a variety of combinations, please check when ordering.
